What are your reasons for blogging?

The blog-search engine Technorati and public relations firm Edelman surveyed subscribers of Technorati’s e-mail newsletter to study their interaction with each other.

An important finding of this survey is that 33.9% of all respondents are blogging to position themselves as authorities in their field. 31.5% bloggers are trying to create a record of their thoughts, 20.3% are trying to connect with others and only 4.6% of all respondents a blogging to generate revenue.
