Free website traffic analytics

It’s been a while since the last time I wrote something in this blog. I am back and ready to share with you something I have been using for quite some time.
If you have a website, you know how important it is to know how many visitors is your website receiving, when they are visiting your site, where they come from, how they found you and of course much more useful information about your website’s traffic.

You need to be well informed about the way your site user’s interact with the website in order to be able to improve their experience and therefore increase your website’s performance. Well, looking for the right service or program that would do enough and wouldn’t cost much is not easy.

Of course there’s Google Analytics which is quite sophisticated and also for free but because Google is experiencing extremely strong demand, you won’t be able you get it any time soon. You can provide them with your email address and they will send you an invitation as they increase capacity.

While you are waiting for Google’s invitation I have an interesting alternative for you. Although, not as great as Google Analytics, it provides a lot of information about your website traffic and it is for free. It’s called TraceWatch and here are some of the many features you can find in TraceWatch:

  • True Real Time web stats report

  • Multiple Websites

  • Path Analysis

  • Reports about referrers, countries, robots, browsers etc.

  • Private or public stats report pages

  • Invisible, no interference with your pages, no JavaScript (You can still use JavaScript code for your non-PHP pages)

  • Fast Loading Web Based stats report is accessible from anywhere

  • Fast and Easy Installation

  • Innovative and usable user interface

  • Multi-Language: Croatian, Danish, German, Dutch, English, French, Italian, Korean, Norwegian, Persian (Farsi), Spanish

Website AnalyticsIt can be easily installed on any website supporting PHP and MySQL. All the features are very easy to use and the way all the information is presented makes it quick to find everything you need to know about your site’s performance which can also help you to make those difficult decisions about your website.

There’s one thing I am missing in TraceWatch and that is the ability to track Pay per Click campaigns like the ones you can run using Google Adwords.

Anyway you can check all the features and details plus you can try a live demo and download this application if you go to tracewatch.com

Enjoy it.
